I'm an AI Lab Head who has delivered 30+ production AI projects across manufacturing, coding, and productivity. I help businesses and professionals do the same — without the jargon.
"I teach you to bake, not sell you bread."
"The best AI advice comes from someone who has actually built and shipped AI systems."
I'm Věnceslav Chumchal. I lead the AI Lab at the Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovation at TU Liberec — a cross-functional team of 10–15 ML engineers, LLM specialists, and software engineers delivering 30+ applied AI projects a year, from research to production-grade software.
My path is unusual: I started on the shop floor as a CNC machinist, moved into data engineering, then ML research, and built my way to leading one of the applied AI teams in the Czech Republic. I also co-founded IPF Industry, scaling it from zero to ~1M CZK/month revenue in under two years — fully self-financed, 100% owned.
I work at the intersection of deep technical execution and strategic clarity. When I consult, I don't hand you a slide deck and disappear — I transfer the skills and thinking so you can keep building after I'm gone.
Currently pursuing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence at Universität zu Lübeck while working full-time. Curiosity doesn't wait.
Most consultants create ongoing dependency — and like it that way. My goal is the opposite: every engagement ends with you owning the capability, the thinking, and the confidence to keep building without me.
Everything I teach, I do. I lead an AI lab delivering real AI systems to industry clients. My advice is grounded in what actually works in production — not what sounds good in a presentation.
Every engagement is built around what you actually need — your processes, your codebase, your industry. No templates. No generic slide decks.
From predictive maintenance to computer vision quality control — I help industrial businesses identify where AI creates real value, and build the systems to deliver it. Grounded in 5+ years of applied ML in automotive, construction, and chemical engineering.
Learn to build reliable systems using Claude Code, Cursor, and agentic AI workflows. I cover the engineering fundamentals that separate fragile AI-generated code from production-ready software: idempotency, deduplication, caching, and failure visibility.
A practical job audit and automation roadmap: we identify what's worth automating (a minute every day vs. a work day per year), distinguish digitisation from real automation, and build the skills so you can keep optimising independently.
Consultancy available worldwide, conducted in English. A genuine interest in building capability, not just outsourcing a task.
Every engagement starts with understanding your actual situation — then building the most direct path to your goal, with the skills to sustain it.
You share your challenge, context, and goals. I'll tell you directly whether I can help and what the engagement would look like — no obligation.
Depending on the niche: a workflow audit, codebase review, or process mapping session. This is where we separate what's worth automating from what isn't.
Weekly or bi-weekly 60-minute sessions via Zoom or Google Meet. Hands-on, interactive — we build, review, and iterate in real time. Everything is documented.
Session notes, implementation guides, and async support between calls. The goal is always that you can continue and improve independently after we wrap up.
First session includes a 20% introductory discount — mention it when you reach out. All rates in EUR.
Bundle discounts available for 5+ sessions booked in advance. Custom enterprise packages on request.
I'm an active practitioner — not just a consultant. What I advise reflects what I do daily at a European research institution and as a co-founder.
Reach me via email or WhatsApp. I reply within 24 hours and we'll find a time that works across any timezone.
